Introduction

Security Operation Compliance (Perform Supervisory Duties within Legal Framework) is one of the optional modules to progress on to the job level of Security Supervisor. Participants will acquire the essential knowledge and skills to comprehend and comply with legal responsibilities and obligations as well as the security supervisor’s legal rights and responsibilities.

Assumed Attitudes, Skills and Knowledge

Participants are assumed to be able to:

Be able to read, write and speak English at WSQ WPL Level 4
Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4
Be able to read from a computer monitor and see from a distance
Possess basic skills in operating a computer
Individuals who do not meet the above entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance

Objectives

To demonstrate mastery of the tasks in this course, the participants must be able to do the following within the given time limit and with the materials, tools and equipment supplied:

Interpret job roles and responsibilities of security supervisor
Apply understanding of contractual agreement to deliver quality security services
Demonstrate ability to protect client’s interests
Apply understanding of security supervisor’s legal rights and responsibilities at workplace
